Choir member wins competition inspired by Arc of the Sky

Long time Voice Project choir member, Marilda Barton, has won a competition run by Waveney and Blyth Arts, inspired by our Arc of the Sky project. Entrants were asked to respond artistically to our Arc of the Sky film, which can be seen here.

Marilda submitted a poem inspired by the birth of her daughter and was delighted to win a metal angel by sculptor Cindy Lee Wright, one of a number sold to raise money for Ukraine.

Marilda said, 'To be involved in making the film when the choir couldn’t get together was exciting, to finally sing it with an audience was great, and now to win this beautiful angel is a great joy.'
