Winter Project - The Sky is Full of Light

This year is officially the Voice Project’s 10th Birthday, and it’s 15 years since we did our first new commission, Barbara Thompson’s Journey to a Destination Unknown in 2003, in the days when we were known as Bigger Sky.

To celebrate our official 10th and 15 years of amazing music-making with hundreds of singers and some extraordinary composers, instrumentalists, vocal soloists, lighting designers and poets, we’ve decided to stage a concert at St Andrew’s Hall on 22nd December 2018.

The programme will include some fantastic musical highlights from the past 15 years, featuring music by Barbara Thompson, Andy Sheppard, Gwilym Simcock, Jon Baker, Arve Henriksen, Helen Chadwick, Orlando Gough and Karen Wimhurst as well as new pieces written specially for the event. We are hoping to have some special guests for the evening and really hope you’ll join in the choir to mark this special occasion with us.
