Tuning In

This workshop looks at the connections between singing and mindfulness,  joining up voice, mind and body.  We will focus on the process of singing - bringing our attention to the details that we might miss when learning in a larger group, slowing the process down and looking at breath, body, melody, harmony and  rhythm as well as the relationship between our own voices and the group. Simple meditation techniques, bodywork, vocal improvisation and the inspiring harmonies and rhythms of traditional and contemporary songs make up the content of the weekend.. no need to have experience in either music or meditation.

Course run by Sian Croose.
